Went for a run today. Only had time for two and a half miles, but I haven’t gone running since the second day of school and it felt glorious. Even if it was on concrete opposed to all the trails and mountain hikes I did this summer. I miss Colorado deeply.
Running always makes me feel better. It helps me sleep better so I focus better and I get more things done. I’ve been doing yoga and kayaking, but they don’t exhaust me like running does. Nothing else really happened today except I got saddled with a stack of papers to complete, and I got to practice my terrible southern Georgia accent in my schools rendition of “Those Learned Ladies”. I play the part of Ariste, which was originally a boys part, but whatever.
Anyway, that is all.
